Pasta Making
Pasta Making
Grandma had a huge macaroni board that covered the entire kitchen table. When she pulled out her macaroni board, we knew we were in for an amazing feast! She always made the best homemade pasta, whether it was cavatelli aka hats, or fettuccine aka strips or cheese ravioli. All the pastas were rolled out and made by hand. She did not use any machines or attachments; it was all a labor of love, and we absolutely loved every bite.
Today, there are many types of pasta making machines available. Fully electric, manual machines etc, so many choices. During our trip to Italy, my family and I decided to take a pasta making class, which I highly recommend. We had so much fun bonding over pasta. In this class, we used manual machines, and they worked great!
Regardless of which pasta making method you choose, it’s a lot of fun making pasta together.
Enjoy,
Vivian
